Voortman Bakery uses real ingredients, like whole grain oats, coconut, and almonds. Plus, there are no artificial colors, flavors, high-fructose corn syrup, or trans-fat in any of our cookies. It’s differences like these that make each bite so delicious!
Voortman Cookies began in 1951 when two young Dutch brothers, William and Harry Voortman, opened their first bakery in Hamilton, Ontario. It took five years of dedicated baking and hard work before a Canadian grocery chain agreed to give Voortman Cookies shelf space in their stores!
Even though our name has changed, our commitment to using simple, real ingredients has not. At Voortman Bakery, quality and taste has always been and always will be our top priority. From our classic Windmill cookies to our new Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, we’re constantly reinventing what delicious tastes like!
Voortman Bakery believes in uncompromising quality when it comes to our cookies. We work hard to provide consumers with better flavor, better texture, and better value in all of our products. Our company is not only a highly-rated HACCP certified company, but was also FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certified in May 2017.
We’ve also won awards for our safety processes and product developments.
